Tina Hill Retiring from C.A.R.E. After Seven Years on Board of Directors

Global Connections’ Inventory Manager, Tina Hill, will be stepping down from serving on the Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers’ (C.A.R.E.) board as Vice President after serving seven years.

During her time on the C.A.R.E. board, Tina was able to leave her stamp on many organizations and events.

In addition to her Vice Presidency, she was the Sponsorship Committee co-chair and Membership Committee co-chair. She was also a part of the Conference Committee and the Ambassador Committee. Tina and fellow committee members raised a record amount of sponsorship funding for the upcoming 2014 semiannual conferences.

It may look like a lot of work but according to Tina, the people she worked with in those committees made it worth it!

“Working with a great team of board members and helping make decisions to help the organization grow every year was the best part,” Tina said.

Being a part of all the great committees meant she was also an integral part of planning each conference. The 2013 Fall conference was held in Sonoma, California, and Tina was able to help plan a very successful Global sponsored event.

“At the Sonoma conference Global sponsored an incredible event and being part of putting the event together at the winery and people loving it was great,” Tina said. “It was so out of the box of any of the conferences we have been to so far.”
