New Intranet Brings Employees Together

What better way to celebrate Global Connections’ 20th Anniversary than by doing something meaningful for the people that make our company what it is today?

The next chapter in Global Connections’ success is here, and it’s all about our employees. On July 19, Global Connections unveiled its new Employee Intranet, a site just for employees to find what they need, when they need it, all in one convenient place.

All Global Connections employees from all offices can access the site which will house everything from benefit information to forms to employee profiles. Here are just some of the features employees will have:

Employee Directory

The robust employee directory features photos, pertinent contact information, and personal and professional profile information. Similar to Facebook, employees can choose which colleagues they want to follow, and everyone can update their daily status, just like on social media.

Individual Department Sites

Interdepartmental communication will be a lot easier with these individual sites created by the departments. Site administrators can control who sees what so they can share information with just their peers or company wide.

Document Center

Global Connections employees, even those in different states, have a one-stop place to access important HR documents, from new hires to benefit enrollment to training applications, making it much easier to get day-to-day paperwork taken care of.

Benefits

All available employee benefits, from 401K to health insurance, with important information and updates, are easily accessible.

Vacation Travel Benefits

Global Connections employees will have access to vacation benefits online. They can book cruise, hotel and car rental reservations, book airfare, get a camping pass, sign up for travel concierge service, and enjoy shopping discounts.
