Guests Are Loving Myla Rose Saloon

Myla Rose Saloon at Lodge by The Blue has been open less than two months and is already enjoying great success.

General Manager Kristin Schuette “Myla Rose averages 30-70 guests per night that include Lodge by The Blue guests and local Blue River residents and Park County commuters. The support from our locals has been amazing. We have had many repeat guests that live ‘up the road’ or ‘down the road’ calling ahead for reservations.”

Guest enthusiasm for Myla Rose is driven by more than just a convenient location. The Saloon is committed to two important things: locally sourced products and ingredients and shaping a menu partially based on guest feedback and suggestions.

Global Connections President and CEO Tom Lyons “We started by designing our menu to showcase local resources and products. We choose dishes that allow us to use local resources, like bison and goat cheese. We also use meat and produce from local farms.”

Myla Rose Saloon Chef Christian Anderson works primarily with natural, locally sourced ingredients, creating most of the menu in house, which includes varying daily specials. Even the bar sources locally, featuring signature offerings from different local breweries and wineries as well as Breckenridge Distillery.

The results are delicious to look at and even better to eat. Here are just a few of the things you might see on the menu:

In fact, Schuette says they have changed the menu more than once based on specials that receive high praise from guests.

Congratulations to the Myla Rose team! We hope everyone has a chance to visit and sample some comforting Colorado cuisine. You can also follow Myla Rose Saloon on Facebook and Instagram (fair warning, the photos will make you hungry)!
